Greenhouse agriculture in the western Negev is a strategic national asset, sustaining livelihoods and strengthening national food security. The sector, however, faces a longstanding profitability crisis which was exacerbated by October 7th.

ReGrow’s greenhouse innovation program is helping farmers adopt proven technologies to improve profitability. Following a successful pilot, ReGrow is now scaling the model to meet strong farmer demand for modernization and long-term resilience.

THE MODEL

Our Three Drivers of Change

ReGrow’s model advances projects through connected Field, Innovation, and Policy drivers. The Greenhouse Innovation Program engages the Field, Innovation  and Policy drivers.

At the field level, farmers are adopting commercialized technologies to improve efficiency, profitability and climate resilience.

At the innovation level, the program piloted determinate tomatoes.

At the policy level, the agronomic and economic evaluation highlighted the impact of each technology providing evidence for scale.
